What data we collect and why
When you submit a quote request or contact form on this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Property address or postcode
- The service you are enquiring about
- Property type
- Any additional details you choose to include
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if you proceed — to arrange and carry out your property survey or certification.
Legal basis (UK GDPR): We process this data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you have initiated) and, where a contract follows, performance of a contract.
How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data for up to 15 years from the date of any certificate or survey carried out. This reflects our obligation to maintain records of energy performance and safety assessments. If your enquiry does not result in a survey, we will retain your data for the same period in case of future queries relating to your property.
You may request deletion at any time — see Your Rights below.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share it with:
- Formspree — our form processing provider, which receives your form submissions and forwards them to us (formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy)
- Our assessors — where necessary to carry out the survey you have booked
- Regulatory bodies or courts — where we are legally required to disclose information
